2,940 fans watched an exciting game at SAFECO Field.  The St. Paul Saints
topped the Chainsaw Proctologists by the slimmest of margins, 7 to 6.
 
The game was deadlocked at 6 after nine full innings.  St. Paul was victorious
in the 11th inning.  After an out was recorded, Melvin Mora hit a bases-empty
home run (his 10th of the season) resulting in a mighty exciting win for St.
Paul and the 2,940 home town fans in attendance.  St. Paul ended up with 14
hits for the game while Chainsaw had 11.  
 
Chris Britton(2-2) got credit for the victory, pitching 1 inning and allowing
no runs. The losing pitcher was Rafael Betancourt(5-4) in relief.  He pitched
1 and 1/3 innings giving up 2 hits and no walks.
 
With this win, St. Paul has a 62-77 record.  They have been 5-5 lately.
Chainsaw has a record of 64-75, worst in the division after the loss.
